This Privacy Policy explains how OneTap Coach (“OneTap Coach”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our iPhone and Apple Watch app and related services (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Account information — your email address and name, provided when you sign up with email or Sign in with Apple.
- Training preferences — your goal, training space, equipment, and frequency, used to personalize your plans.
- Workout data — the plans you generate and save, the days and sets you complete, and the reps and weights you log.
- Health & fitness data (Apple Health / HealthKit) — with your explicit permission, we read your heart rate, active energy (calories), steps, and exercise minutes to show your activity, and we may save completed workouts to Apple Health.
- Subscription status — whether you have an active subscription. Purchases are processed by Apple; we do not receive or store your payment-card details.
- Diagnostics — limited technical information needed to operate and improve the app.
How we use your information
- To generate and personalize your workout plans and coaching.
- To show your progress, activity, and analytics.
- To provide the AI Coach and AI insights based on your real training data.
- To operate your account, manage subscriptions, and provide support.
Apple Health (HealthKit) data
Health and fitness data obtained through HealthKit is used only to provide app features you request — showing your activity, computing your workout summary, and saving workouts to Apple Health. We do not use HealthKit data for advertising or marketing, and we do not sell it or share it with third parties. HealthKit data is read on your device; if account features require storing any of it, it is stored solely to provide the Service and never used for any purpose disallowed by Apple.
AI processing
To create your plans and coaching responses, the text you write and your training preferences are sent to third-party AI providers that generate the content on our behalf. Please do not include sensitive personal information in your prompts. These providers process the data only to return a result and under contractual confidentiality obligations.
Where your data is stored
Your account, plans, and logged data are stored with our cloud database provider (Supabase) using access controls so that you can only access your own data. Data is protected with encryption in transit. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers who help us operate the Service — cloud hosting/database, AI providers, and Apple (for sign-in and purchases) — and only as needed to provide the Service or as required by law.
Your choices and rights
- You can revoke Health access at any time in the Apple Health app or iOS Settings.
- You can edit your training preferences in the app at any time.
- You may request access to, or deletion of, your account and associated data by emailing support@onetapcoach.app.
Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their data.
International users
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. By using the Service you consent to such processing consistent with this policy.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
